Mt. Fitzroy bathed in golden light of sunrise outside El Chalten, Patagonia, Argentina. Patagonia is a long way away from where I live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, so when you get to an iconic photography location like this, you are naturally keeping your hopes up that weather conditions will cooperate. On our first two attempts to photograph sunrise at this location, we were disappointed by the cloud cover snuffing out any hope of seeing Fitzroy. But on the third morning, with our bags packed and ready to go, we drove out to this location and were treated to a beautiful sunrise, with dispersing rain clouds that made everything even more dramatic.

Copyright Susan Ogden “One person's craziness is another person's reality.” ― Tim Burton Perspective is such a strange thing, and rather what makes us all so different. It defines how we see things and our own versions of reality. That makes reality sometimes very hard to define. Your reality or mine? My reality is constantly in flux. I like to allow myself the chance to see things differently. i like to process what i see in as many ways as i can...and so my reality will change because of that! I suppose that is something that makes me who i am or maybe it is what makes me who YOU think i am. The realities we have are likely SO very different. The outside of me is as calm as the waters you see beneath the pier....and then there is the inside of me that takes more the shape of that wave! People see the calm and quiet outside me, but not the one on the inside that can become so totally overwhelmed by things that they would not even bat an eye over! It is all in the perspective...inside, outside, up, down....things can look verrrrry different!
